The Town of Garden City is accepting Letters of Interest from qualified residents interested in serving on the Garden City Board of Trustees.

One Trustee position was not filled through the 2026 regular municipal election, and the Town anticipates a vacancy in this position following the election. In addition, the Town has received the resignation of Trustee Rebecca Moreau, creating an additional vacancy on the Board.

The Board of Trustees intends to consider qualified applicants for appointments to the positions pursuant to C.R.S. § 31-4-303.

Qualified Candidates Must Be: Registered to vote, 18 years of age, a Resident of Garden City for at least the last 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the Election.

Board members are expected to attend two regular meetings, usually on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 5:30PM. In addition, there are occasional special meetings, which are normally of short duration. For each regular or special meeting attended, the Trustee's pay per meeting is $175.00.

Interested individuals are asked to submit a Letter of Interest describing their interest in serving the community and any relevant experience or qualifications.
